Earl Grey diplomacy is mostly knowing which thoughts to keep behind your teeth. “Lovely to see you” can cover quite a lot, provided the cup stays level and nobody asks what you really think of their new breakfast routine. Our host has made an effort. The jacket is on, the saucer is out, and he’d appreciate it if you could interpret the visible teeth as a smile. He hasn’t had his tea yet.

TEA-REX lets you take a less formal approach to dressing for that first cup. Its regular-fit crewneck leaves the ceremony to the print, which is useful when your contribution to polite society currently amounts to being awake and not saying the thing you’re thinking. Give it a minute. The tea is doing what it can, and everyone appears to be making a real effort. We can discuss the rest of the food chain once we’re all a little more approachable.

• Gildan 5000 Unisex Classic Tee with a front DTG print.
• Dark Heather: 50% cotton, 50% polyester. All other offered colors: 100% cotton.
• Fabric weight: 5.0–5.3 oz/yd² (170–180 g/m²).
• Open-end yarn and tubular construction, without side seams.
• Taped neck and shoulders; double seams at the sleeves and bottom hem.
• Short sleeves, a crew neck, and a structured regular fit.

Find your fit

This is an adult unisex tee. Compare the measurements below with a shirt you already like: lay it flat, measure the width across the chest just below the armholes, then measure from the top of the shoulder beside the neckline to the bottom hem. These are garment measurements, not body circumference.

S–3XL is offered in every listed color. 4XL–5XL is offered in Black, Navy, Forest Green, Military Green, Sky, White. Choose a color to check the available sizes.

Keep it looking good

Wash on a cold, gentle cycle with the tee turned inside out, similar colors, and a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener. Hang to dry, or use a low tumble-dryer setting. If needed, iron on a cool setting from the reverse, keeping the iron off the print. Do not dry-clean.
